AVENUE is proud to announce their involvement with this year’s Second Life Community Convention. A congregation of the SL Community that has met every summer since 2005, SLCC is an opportunity to meet fellow residents and connect the many different facets of SL under one umbrella. This year’s event is taking place in San Francisco August 13 – 16. Registration information can be found at www.slconvention.org. Through tracks, panels and workshops, SLCC is an exploration of the diverse SL community – including business, education, art, music and lifestyles. Each year the convention is organized by residents and managed by The Future United, a volunteer based non-profit organization.
The first of it’s kind, AVENUE will organize “Fashion Forward,” a fashion track to help educate residents in all the many aspects of SL Fashion and its impact on the Linden economy. Spearheaded by AVENUE’s CEO Rusch Raymaker and VP Jesika Contepomi, the track will consist of 3 panel discussions involving prominent fashion designers, marketers, models and bloggers.
Currently joining the mixed reality panel discussions are designers Callie Cline and Asri Falcone as well as fashion marketing professionals Dancer Dallagio and Harper Beresford.
