Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

—Mark Twain

SLentrepreneur has established its own Second Life Entrepreneur of the Year Award. Our aim is to recognize the achievements of individuals who have made a significant impact on SL economy and culture.

Nominations are open to all SL residents.

During the year, we will profile the best of the submissions in our SLentre – Second Life Profiles section of the website. This will lead to a grand finale at the end of the year, when the 2008 winner and winners of additional rewards will be announced.at a gala event attended by the nominees, SL’s premiere businesspeople, and representatives from Second Life media outlets.

How to apply

Simply send the name of your candidate in an e-mail to Avarie Parker at avarie.parker@gmail.com, along with a photograph (optional) and a list of the nominee’s achievements. Good luck, from SLentrepreneur Magazine!
