Avarie Parker is a Second Life identity created by real life professional Lisa Peyton. Lisa began exploring virtual worlds several years ago while working as a web developer and designer in Portland, Oregon. Lisa has gone on to publish SLentrepreneur Magazine or SLENTRE.COM, an on-line magazine dedicated to business within Second Life. Collaborating with a team of international writers and managing several departments, she has built a strong network within the virtual environment. She has also developed and co-founded Virtual Job Candy, (Virtualjobcandy.com) a job board dedicated to virtual world jobs in the real world. Her role at VJC allows her to combine her design skills, project management experience, and technical expertise to create exciting new 3D environments.
